WHO ARE WE

Unity for
our Community

At Unity for the Community, we empower people to live their best life by focusing on Trauma Informed Care.

Through our model people are given the environment and support to break the cycle of trauma and disadvantage in its many forms.

all walks of life

Who do we support?

Children And
Young People

Many through no fault of their own, end up needing care and support outside the family environment. Our role is to provide mentoring, guidance and support to help them become the people they want to be when they mature into adult life.

Long Term
Mental Health

Many in our community suffer from serious mental health issues that can cause them to suffer repeated admissions to the hospital or criminal justice systems. Our role is to provide a stable environment built on safety, respect and trust that helps to keep them safe and break the cycle and live a different life of their choosing.

Criminal Justice

Many people who are incarcerated have issues that are the result of trauma throughout their life. Our role is to provide a safe, stable environment that they can have trust in. We recognise that actions maybe adaptive and work with them on their strengths.
